Pairs of photographs adjust focal depth to reveal new spaces as the cinematic eye intersects the photographic still. Utopian spaces between waking and sleeping are glimpsed. The architectural devices of the screen, door, window, and mirror are explored. While materials that hold depth and a multiplicity of readings rely on an active observer, the spatial collapse of the photograph enacts some of this work for you.
