Renovation to a downtown home included insulating and re-cladding the exterior and replacing the windows for improved energy performance. The ground and upper floor were reconfigured to create more spacious and usable kitchen and bathroom. Skylights in the bath and stair brought natural light into the core, introducing diurnal rhythms into a tight site.
